The Origin of DeeMolishment™
For those inquiring minds wanting to know where the name “DeeMolishment” derived from… I suggest you grab a quick seat :)
As you can see, the name is similar to the word “demolish”. Take a moment to think about other words that may come to mind when you hear this word: Destroy? Dismantle? Ruin? Tear? Construct? Repair? Restore? … maybe all or just a few, but whichever word you thought of, DeeMolishment™ is just that, and then some!
The idea of taking old clothing items, and adding tears, rips, embellishments, bleach, paint, patches, and much more, drove me to name the company after the idea of “demolishing” a piece of clothing and reconstructing it to new!
Lastly, anyone that knew me growing up, knew me as “DeeDee” or for short, “Dee” which is why I interchanged one ‘e’ for two!
And there you have it… The origin of taking one old clothing garment and turning it into something new and stylish is best known as… DeeMolishment™
